EPA Lead Renovator Certification Initial Training

Pike County is offering a free EPA Lead Renovator Certification Initial Training to qualified contractors. Pike County will cover the cost of the training ($225) and provide a reimbursement for the EPA Lead-Safe Firm Certification Fee ($300) for firms that complete this training hosted by Pike County.

How to Participate

Submit qualifications to Pike County by May 16

Participate in the training on May 17

Submit a Firm Application to EPA

Send Pike County a copy of your cancelled check or credit card receipt

Respond to bids for housing rehabilitation projects
EPA Lead-Safe Certification is required by federal law for anyone who is paid to perform work that disturbs paint in housing and child-occupied facilities built before 1978
What to Expect in the Training
The training will begin promptly at 8 a.m. at the Pike County Training Center in Hawley, PA.
